Advent and Christmas Schedule. Advent Midweek services will be offered throughout the Wednesdays of Advent, 12/3, 12/10, and 12/17. Christmas Eve Candlelight Vespers is at 7PM and the Christmas Day D.S. is 9AM.
Practice for the children’s Christmas Eve service has begun. Please have your children to Sunday School so they can join their classmates with practice for Christmas Eve.
Confirmation students are expected to memorize a verse of Scripture and recite it before the services of Advent and Christmas. This includes the midweek services. Pastor Yeager has the wreath lighting schedule. Please contact him if you need a copy.
Recovering and Homebound members. Some have asked for the addresses of the recovering and homebound, to send cards, letters, etc. For a list of addresses to send, please send us a message ON OUR CONTACT PAGE HERE! 👈
Next Voters Assembly at St. Paul will be at 7PM on December 9. This will be a special budget and elections meeting. We are looking for bids for the positions of Webmaster, Secretary, Custodian, and Groundskeeper. Currently, our slate for the elections is filling up. We are looking for one more person to allow their name to stand for DEACON and another to allow his name to stand for FINANCIAL SECRETARY. Although we have one person for every office, we like to make the election meeting a true ‘election’ where the congregation decides between two persons for every office in the Church. Talk to pastor if interested. Also, anyone interested in serving on the CEMETERY CMTE. is welcomed to talk to Tim Hoffman.
First Communion. Families who have interest in their children receiving first Communion are invited to a meeting on Saturday, December 20th at 9AM where pastor will discuss requirements for what the children will need to memorize and give some practical tools for learning the catechism at home. Call Pastor Yeager with any questions you may have.
SCRIP Note. Karmen Elwer and Alisha Bulmahn are the SCRIP representatives and will be selling SCRIP before Sunday School every week between the services! Thank you for supporting our school by buying gifts cards for all of your needs!!
Continue to support the Nazareth and Norway missions by using the boxes in the narthex. The new Nazareth Newsletter is in the narthex on their offering box.
SGO Donations. Get your SGO donations in by the end of the year to save on your state tax assessment. Giving to the SGO supports our congregation, in her congregational assessment to Wyneken, along with the students at Wyneken, in that it gives them a scholarship to attend our school. This donation counts as stewardship and helping school families. God bless you.

A Note on Christian Stewardship: SGOs.**
Looking to save on State Taxes AND support your Church financially?
Give an SGO scholarship! You can benefit your Church with a donation to the SGO, AND get yourself a 50% credit against your state tax liability for your contribution. Students at Wyneken also benefit from SGO gifts. In other words, an SGO gift from a Church member is a win-win-win. Consider directing your Church giving toward an SGO scholarship. St. Paul will benefit all the same, AND you can save on taxes!
