Individual Confession and Absolution will be offered today from 6:30-7:15AM and every Sunday throughout the season of Lent, or by appointment with Pastor Yeager.
The five midweek services of Lent continue this Wednesday March 4th at 7PM and every . We will host a Lenten Supper before each of these five midweek services. There is a signup sheet in the narthex should you like to provide a meal, perhaps working with some friends
Easter flower order forms are in the narthex and will be available until March 1st. Please make checks payable to Heller’s this year. Cash in exact amount is also accepted. Text or call Kelly Todd with questions. This year, St. Paul will be purchasing Easter flowers and outside flowers through a Thrivent action team grant. If you would be interested in 1. Taking flowers to shut-in members of the congregation after Easter service—those who could not make it to Church or just need to have their day brightened, or 2. Helping plant flowers in the beds around Church this spring at a date to-be-determined, please talk to Brian Steiner. We would like to pursue both projects this year
Senior fellowship. A group of Lutheran seniors have begun to meet informally at 1PM Thursdays in the fellowship hall for cards and fellowship. We would like you to join us if you are interested. Please talk to Diana Hoffman for more information. You are welcome to join us!
Job Descriptions. We are gathering job descriptions for every office and contracted position in the Church. If you are serving on Church council, or working for the Church in any capacity, we ask that you write a detailed-as-possible job description of your work and turn it in to Pr. Yeager. We would like to have these in before the April Voters Assembly
Holy Week and Easter Services. Mark your calendars for the services of Holy Week: Maundy Thursday Divine Service at St. Paul (4/2) at 7PM; Good Friday Tre Ore (at St. John, Bingen, 12-3PM), Good Friday Chief Service at St. Paul (4/3) at 7PM; the Easter Vigil at St. John Bingen (this is a circuit-wide service conducted by all the pastors of the Decatur circuit, LCMS, 4/4) at 8PM; and the Easter services on Sunday, 4/5 at 6AM and 9AM at St. Paul. There will be an Easter breakfast served in between the Easter services by the youth and confirmands of St. Paul. Please join us as we prepare to celebrate our Lord’s Passover from death to life
Sunday School. A couple of our S.S. teachers would like to take a break from teaching Sunday School next year. Therefore, if you think your talents and abilities would be suited to a Sunday School classroom, you could certainly be a help to us at St. Paul. These commitments would not begin until September 2026, so you have plenty of time to consider it and talk to Ed Albert.
In addition to our search for regular teachers, our church would like to develop a list of people willing to serve as substitute Sunday School teachers. The need is occasional and the more volunteers we have lightens the load on all. This opportunity is open to both men and women. If you have a heart for this service or any questions, please contact our Sunday School Superintendent: Ed Albert @ 260-223-3515

Last year 2025, we collected $6,831.00 for the Norway Mission (Pastor Gunstein Innvaer) and $8,564.13 to the Nazareth Mission (Pastor Walterson) in Baltimore. What fantastic, excellent work you are doing dear friends! I would like to thank the congregation for their partnership in the Gospel, and encourage continued support of these missions in this new year. Both pastors Innvaer and Walterson have asked me to relay their personal thanks to you for your support. Thank you, thank you, thank you! Pr. Yeager
