2026 Wyneken Warrior Summer Volleyball Camp. At the Wyn. gym, June 24-26, girls grades 3-8 (based on 26-27 school year). Time: 3-4:30 (3rd-5th), 4:30-6 (6th-8th). Cost is $30 (includes T-Shirt). Open Positions: Middle School Social Studies Teacher sought. We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Middle School Social Studies Teacher to join our team. This individual will deliver engaging, standards-aligned instruction in social studies for grades 5-8 while contributing to the spiritual and academic culture of our school community. Elementary Teacher sought. We are looking for an enthusiastic and caring Elementary Teacher to provide exceptional instruction to students in grades K-5. The ideal candidate brings a love of learning, a heart for children, and a commitment to integrating faith into every aspect of the school day.

Fundraising Committee—Volunteer Needed. This committee has been appointed by the Board of Education, according to the directives of the Strategic Plan, tasked to focus on reaching and engaging alumni and streamlining fundraising efforts. Preble needs a member to serve on this committee. The member does not need to be a voting member. Talk to Pastor Yeager for more information. If you have a heart for our school, this would be a great way to serve. Thank you.

Volunteers Needed: NLSA Accreditation Committee. Wyneken Memorial Lutheran School is working toward accreditation through the National Lutheran School Accreditation program, and we need your help. NLSA accreditation is a rigorous process that affirms our school is meeting high standards in Christian mission, curriculum, staffing, and student care. Earning this recognition is a testament to the quality of education we provide and strengthens our commitment to excellence in Lutheran education.

We are forming a committee of volunteers to support this important work, and we would love to have parents and congregation members at the table. Committee members will be expected to participate in an NLSA work day on Saturday, September 26th, with the possibility of additional involvement as we move through the process. Classroom Wish List. As our teachers prepare for the upcoming school year, they have a few items on their wish list. If you are parting with any high-top (counter-height) tables, bookshelves, or entry tables, or know someone who is, we would love to give them a new home here at Wyneken. Wyneken Back to School Social—“Foam Party”, August 6th. 3-5PM, meet and greet with your teachers and drop off school supplies; 5-7PM, Foam Parrt (bring a towel!), yard games, cookout, hotdog meal, including chips, cookies, and bottled water. Soda House will be available for purchase! Join us!

Wyneken Class of 2028 is hosting a golf outing on Sunday, September 20th. Proceeds go to their Washington DC trip. $75 per player; $300 per foursome. Check in at 11:00 a.m. Shotgun start at 12:00 p.m. They are also looking for sponsors. Meal tickets only are $12 each. Youth/District/Community

YMCA Camp Clay. Sunday, July 12, 12-5:30PM. The YMCA Camp Clay Aqua Park and Splash Pad consists of 7 water attractions and 3 floating splash mats. They also have a boating area with canoes, kayaks, stand up paddleboards, and peddle boats. They have a floating raft transport over to their island in the pond. The biggest attraction is a water zip line! Concessions available. Cost per youth is $10. This is a middle and high school youth event.
